Welcome to Kumi Design Studio. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, services, and online store. By accessing or using any of our services or making a purchase from our online store, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Company Information
Kumi is a design studio based in Indonesia. Our company registration number is 2605220001013, and our registered office is located at Jalan Sunset Road Nomor 88, Desa/Kelurahan Seminyak, Kec. Kuta, Kab. Badung, Provinsi Bali, 80361. We provide project-based design services, retainer packages for creating branded content, and sell merchandise through our online store.
2. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, and designs, displayed on our website, services, and online store, are owned by Kumi Design Studio or our respective licensors. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, or use any of our intellectual property without obtaining prior written permission from us.
3.1 Retainer Packages
Our retainer packages for creating branded content, as well as website building & hosting, are subject to usage rights, Terms & conditions outlined in the respective package and add-ons you have selected. By subscribing to a retainer package, you agree to the specified duration, number of requests per quarter, payment terms, and cancellation policies associated with the selected package.
3.2 Retainer Cancellation Policy
You have the flexibility to cancel your recurring payments at any time: We understand that circumstances can change, and we want to ensure that our services align with your evolving needs. Please note that if you decide to cancel, any remaining design requests for the current billing period will be forfeited.
4. Design Services
For project-based design services, we provide a separate agreement outlining the scope of work, timelines, usage rights, and payment terms for each project individually. This agreement must be reviewed and signed-off by you before we commence work. The price we quote for this agreement is valid for a period of 3 months from the date it is sent to you; after this time period, it is subject to change at our discretion.
Please note that the timelines provided are estimations and can vary based on the complexity of the project and external factors beyond our control, such as the timely provision of feedback and resources from your end. We will work closely with you, providing guidance and support throughout the project, to achieve your goals to the best of our ability.
We do provide deadlines for each phase of the project individually, once we have ensured we have all the resources and information we need, a timeslot has been scheduled, and a deposit amounting to 50% of the project phase has been paid. It's important to note that any changes or additions to the scope of work or project requirements may result in adjustments to the timeline and cost, which will be discussed and agreed upon before implementation.
Upon completion of the project, the final deliverables will be transferred to you upon receipt of the remaining balance, as outlined in the project agreement.
5. Design Revisions
At Kumi Design Studio, we believe in collaborative decision-making to ensure a successful creative project. We value your input and involve you in key points of the process to steer the project in the right direction together. Before we create anything, we establish a clear and cohesive vision that satisfies both parties, minimizing the need for excessive revisions and micromanagement in later stages.
During the presentation of the final assets, you will have the opportunity to provide your thoughts and feedback directly so that we may consider your initial reactions. You will then also have the chance to sit with the presentation in your own time, and compile a clear set of actionable revisions. Please ensure that your revision requests are clear, specific, and aligned with the project goals to help us implement the changes accurately and efficiently. In the case that we feel the request may hinder the project rather than make it better, we might push back or discuss it with you, as we believe it is our role to guide you with a professional opinion so that you can make an educated final decision. Once we agree on all the revisions, we implement them and send you a revised presentation. After this point, additional requests are charged at an extra hourly rate.
6. Online Store
When making a purchase from our online store, you agree to provide accurate and complete information for the order and to comply with our payment terms. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders, refund payments, or modify prices at our discretion. All merchandise sold through our online store is subject to availability.
7. Shipping and Delivery
For merchandise orders placed through our online store, we will make reasonable efforts to process and deliver your order in a timely manner. However, we are not responsible for any delays or damages caused by third-party shipping providers or events beyond our control.
8. Returns and Refunds
We strive to provide high-quality merchandise and ensure your satisfaction. If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 30 days of receipt to arrange for a return or exchange. Refunds are subject to our review and discretion.
9. Limitation of Liability
Kumi Design Studio shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of our services, website, or online store. We make no warranties or representations regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the information provided on our website or online store.
